I excoriate people for posing false dilemmas all the time. I agree 
this a First World problem, but I'd say it's not totally a false 
dilemma because the choice you're suggesting involves "sacrificing" 
something that many people value. Yes, I could live without the SyFy 
and TCM channels -- and probably even be a better person for it -- 
but it's not the same kind of false dilemma as, say, choosing between 
paper or plastic bags.

ps -- I know I've been flooding the forum today. Just been that kind 
of day...will try to cut back.
