About question 1)
  At 3.44  the narrator says  "2 years"

About question 2)
It looks like this video is made in different takes,
they first show the (over-)loading with Sawdust,
but before they show the un-loading of the biochar, they show the woman 
loading
and firing woodsticks. So they did not show how this stove burns with 
sawdust.
That would have been indeed interesting to now.

Questions 3 & 4 are best answered i guess, by people who used or 
developed the Anila stove.
