Paul,
A nude Pt/PtRh thermocouple gives less mass to a limited heat flow and
gives less fault readings .
A nude Ni/CrNi oxidation can give oxidation voltages .
Dreaming about a heat meter like a POWER watt meter for laser radiation .
A IR sensor +load gives a power measurement.
A Kcal or watt heat meter will need a metal mass like 50x10 mm or 150 g Fe
and delta T is noted in a fixed time .
With heat capacity versus temperatue , Kcals or watt FLUX are calculated.
About nice brushless ventilators : 5V x 0,15 A is nearly 1 watt ideal for
your stove ;To be found in laptobs on a heat pipe (Fuji-siemens )
Regards
Frans
