[Stoves] Straw roofs and fires

The Maasai have thatched roof. Our stove has a chimney that is brick and cool where it goes through the thatch. They traditionally cook with an open fire and the smoke passes out the door and the thatch above the door is sooty. They never have fires. Bob Lange. Maasai Stove and Solar.
