Andrew, Dieter, and list:

I still remain hopeful that we can find a thermal storage system that can be used with a combined solar-biochar system. I have one contact expert still to talk to.

Anyone else have reason still to hope that thermal storage might work?

The installation in Murcia had a 40 Watt panel with a simple 2-axis tracking device. A SK-parabolic solar cooker (600 Watt) served for comfortable cooking (of course in combination with a hay basket) and we saved quite totally the consumption of LPG.
