Dear Dr Anderson and stovers,
I attached some pictures of the plate-covering( I'd like to call it
gas-valve ) and its effect, captured yesterday.

There was something greatly puzzled me this morning. Decreasing the gas
output, leading to more secondary-air demand! After putting on the
gas-valve, much smoke appeared immediately. After exclude all other causes,
it is for sure lacking of secondary-air that causes the smoke. after
leaving a gap under the concentrator disk, smoke disappeared. very
interesting. it is possible that that smaller blue flame can produce more
heat than large red flame, but it is very hard to imagine that less gas
output lead to more air demand. that is too strange.

best regards.
