Crispin. and list:

The present price. for TEG. devices

(At https://tecteg.com/thermoelectric-generator-power-products-for-sale0

Is roughly 100 time the stated $100/kW below. Same as $1 for 10 Watts.

Looks like a decimal point problem here. It took PV 40 years to achieve a factor of 100 cost decline. and that didn’t involve temperatures of 1000 degrees C.

It gives a dramatic improvement in conversion efficiency (heat to electricity). According to disparate sources, the efficiency might be in the range of 35% and the cost is slashed. We can talk of $100 per KW for the modules.

There is even a new method for assessing the emissions of site-built masonry heaters in B415.1. The general idea is to promote wood fuel over diesel in remote communities.

We hope that you will enjoy this article and also share it with your membership, through newsletters, direct email or on your websites. As you know, the decision posting on the Environmental Registry is live, and we want to reach as many people as possible, to raise awareness of this important initiative.

As you know, the changes Ontario has brought forward help to match up the required level of approval with other comparable energy technologies and environmental impacts, saving businesses and communities time and money, all while ensuring appropriate environmental protections are in place.
