[Stoves] ***SPAM*** ETHOS Abstracts Due Tomorrow / Mañana / Demain !!!

Dear Stove Community, (Español abajo / français ci-dessous)

I just wanted to send out a reminder that the deadline to submit an
abstract to present at the ETHOS conference is due tomorrow, December 16th.
It will be a hybrid conference with people gathering in person in Kirkland
Washington at the typical venue at Northwest University, with the plenary
sessions and breakout groups live streamed on Zoom so people all over the
world can participate remotely. You are able to give a presentation
remotely or in-person! New this year, on Sunday we will have
language-specific breakout groups in Spanish, French, and English so
international colleagues are able to present in their native language.

Thanks to all who have registered and submitted abstracts for ETHOS, and
for all those interested in scholarships! The ETHOS board will be gathering
tomorrow to review all submissions.

encourage your colleagues, students, or others in the clean cooking sector
to submit abstracts and participate in the conference.

Titles are limited to 60 characters and abstracts are limited to 200 words.
In your abstract, please describe what the presentation is about and why it
will be interesting to the audience (i.e., why should they attend). Also,
what will the audience learn?

*Schedule*

*Friday January 27* we will host Friday night slides: an informal session
where anyone can sign up to share a 5 minute slide presentation of their
work in the field.

*Saturday January 28 *will be a full day of presentations, panel
discussions, tabling, and informal interactions with conference participants

*Sunday January 29 *we will host tri-lingual presentation break-out groups,
with sessions conducted in English, French, and Spanish language.

We have negotiated a limited block of rooms at the Baymont Hotel in
Kirkland, WA
