[Stoves] Strata combustor general principles

All,

I want to communicate the basic function of the Strata combustor too those who are not familiar with it.  
Please see the attachments.

The photo shows a test combustor with 9 sloted tubes for the gas mixer.  Also the stationary fan is visible.  The outer wall and insulation are removed.

It was an earlier version using 4 tubes that did one test at 1 mg/min. at Aprovecho for indoor PM.  This at around 3 kw.  More work is being done to increase the clean burning limit for power output, and I am confident from early results that this is possible.
